31 Jan 61 - To 329th FIS George AFB CA 06 Aug 62 - To 4756th Air Def Gp Tyndall AFB FL 23 Nov 62 - To 4756th Air Def Wg Tyndall AFB FL 02 Nov 67 - To ADWC Tyndall AFB FL 04 Apr 84 - To Davis Monthan AFB AZ for storage - AAFN0050 21 Jan 04 - Nose section donated to Southern Utah Air Museum (Washington UT) for cockpit restoration & display 03 Nov 06 - Cockpit sold (never restored or displayed in UT) and now in Tucson AZ with plans to restore the cockpit and then move to the New York City area as a traveling display for children's hospitals. 29 Aug 11 - Still in Tucson and again for sale on E-Bay for $25,000. 07 Feb 12 - Cockpit was sold on Ebay to Dave Peltz's group to be built as a cockpit display. 15 Mar 12 - Successfully moved from Tucson AZ to Timmerman Airport, Milwaukee WI where the cockpit will be restored into a mobile workable display with operational missile bay doors, rails etc.

Fuselage cut in half at station 412 (Aft bulkhead missile bay) and a new fuselage, cockpit section, and nose section was installed with the latest production avionics, the same as the last F-106A 590148 and F-106B 590165. A total of 35 aircraft (28 "A" models and 7 "B" models) were converted and reassigned to various ADC units..
