Dedicated Crew Chief on 57-2545 when the 5 FIS. Sent this aircraft to NASA for testing. The day we sent the aircraft to NASA it was -70 Below Wind Chill Factor at Minot. I believe, I was the last Active Duty Dedicated Crew Chief assigned to this aircraft from 1983-1984. After crewing 57-2545, I prepped,completed the tail flash design and delivered the first F-15B, 76-0125, with Lt. Col Richard Coe, 5FIS Commander, during the transition from F-106s' to F-15s'. I sure wish, I could have owned 57-2545 as it was awesome aircraft to crew!
