Didn't realize it at the time, but working in ADC was the best time in my career in the Air Force. What a great bunch of dedicated Men. No other Command had the focus that was generated by the Air Defense Command. It's so sad that it was shut down... I really want to salute all those pilots I got to meet and work with. What a great "crazy" bunch of guys.
