This is an MSL antenna on the underside of the aircraft; MSL is "Microwave Landing System". We are speculating that 590086 may have been involved in earlier tests of the MSL System; since it was originally a systems test aircraft. Unverified as of 6-13-2013

Due to the lack of TSD's available for museums; our crew at PCAM were forced to replicate one. Using plans provided by forum member Frank Borchardt, we were able to make one from wood and simulate the details. I created the "map" using a Google Map of the San Francisco Bay Area to facilitate visitors' recognition of what the TSD would display in use.

Using plans provided by forum member Frank Borchardt, we were able to make one from wood and simulate the details. I created the "map" using a Google Map of the San Francisco Bay Area to facilitate visitors' recognition of what the TSD would display in use.
