I had the privilege to serve with the 87th FIS at K.I. Sawyer AFB and also with the 177th at Atlantic City, NJ. When the 177th found out that I had worked the phase docks at the 87th, on F-106 aircraft, I was immediatlely hired as a civil service WG-12 technician. I have very fond memories of my time at K.I. Sawyer. I can't even begin to say how thankful I am that I found this website.

When this F-106 visited Fresno - it used the callsign Yankee Victor 06.
