I used to work the Alert Barn from time to time during my 2 years at the 5th FIS. My jets were 590015 and 59025. Would love to hear from Jerry Roth or Steve Heermann out there somewhere. I kept my mucklucks a long time before losing them sometime during my 22 years in the USAF.

This photo contradicts the lore of spittinkittens that was passed down to me. I remember the Lynx cats near the radio shop. But then again, I never wandered further than the MA-1 mach-up in the avionics building for UHF radio. Just heard stories about the flightline and communication boxes falling out of trucks, some got bent up.
