This is the old Liquid nitrogen service port. It was removed when we installed the closed cycle cooling about 1970.

I was stationed at Minot when Jerry painted this. He spent many, many late nights up at the alert barn working on it. Unfortunately, once the sixes were deactivated and the squadron switched to F-15's or F-16's (I was gone by then and can't remember), the lovely mural got painted over. Just like that, a piece of history was gone. I'm glad there was a litho made of it though!
