I was actually one of the two people who trucked up the air unit and took care of those jets. Myself (then MSgt) and MSgt KC Henderson recovered them and turned them for the next day for the Academy football game. After the flyby we turned them for the return flight to Holloman AFB the next day and then drove back.

This particular image was taken (2011, I believe) while the new replica radarscope and TSD units were being configured for installation in 59-0010. Unfortunately, when 'Heathcliff' was converted to QF-106 status (back in the late 80s), her radarscope and TSD were removed. The new replicated radarscope looks perfect and thanks to Jim and his crew at Santa Rosa's PCAM, we now have a great replica TSD that has been inserted where all those drone NULLO toggle switches appear in this picture. The new TSD is a wonderful reproduction, a testament to Jim's and his crew's skill, to be sure. That ratty seat survival kit cover has also been replaced and a correct Weber Force Deployed Back Style Parachute pack completes the 59-0010 cockpit now.
