I was one of the personnel that was assigned to help open Det l 49th FIS in 1976. I was aa 32271A assigned t0 the MA-1 Section, Later I became NCOIC of the Ma-l shop and Squadron Budget Officer. I Spent my last year as NCOIC Squadron Admin. since we could never get a 702 shipped in. I retired from the DEt in NOv 1980.

This patch may have been worn by the crewchief as well as the pilot. The pilots wore an ADC "qualified, skilled, and expert" patch too.
