1965 William Tell Weapons Meet

William Tell 1965 was the largest in history with 16 teams and four categories. Canada became the first foreign country toparticipate and entered with the CF-101 Voodoo's. The focus was on preparatory training, aerial intercepts,judging, scoring, reviews participating teams, aircraft, weapons and targets

In 1961 the F-106 appeared for the first time on the William Tell flight line, one of three interceptor jets specifically designed for protecting North America which were the F-102 Delta Dagger, F-106 Delta Dart and F-101 Voodoo.
